The remote works well, but was very fiddly to set up. During the set up process you have to turn your TV off using the remote, which I managed to do. But then I could not receive a channel on the TV, either manually or using the remote. I did get the TV working again by disconnecting and reconnecting the power. After that the remote finally worked.
